Asian man, 66, punched in unprovoked NYC attack: cops

A brute sucker-punched a 66-year-old Asian man in the face in the Bronx on Sunday, cops said — the latest in a series of unprovoked attacks in the Big Apple.

The victim was walking on East 167th Street near Fulton Street in Morrisania a few minutes before 4 p.m. when the assailant came up from behind and socked him in the left side of the face — without saying a word, according to police.

The victim, who has a vision impairment, according to police sources, refused medical attention at the scene.

The attacker, who was still on the loose Monday, is in his 40s and about 6 feet tall.

The NYPD’s hate crimes task force is probing whether the attack meets the requirements to be classified as a bias incident.

The incident comes amid a wave of violent crimes against Asian victims across the city — including the brutal beating of a 65-year-old woman last week, allegedly by a man who was out on parole for killing his own mother.

Other New Yorkers have been victimized in recent unprovoked attacks. A 73-year-old man was pummeled out of the blue in Midtown on Saturday.
Those who find the truth hateful just hate hearing the truth.

A mind is a terrible thing to waste.....on a nigger.

If you're not catching flak, you're not over the target.
