Martice Fuller found guilty of murder of Kaylie Juga By: Mark Stevens Twitter Posted: Mar 19, 2021 3:59 PM CDT | Updated: Mar 19, 2021 9:39 PM CDT BRISTOL, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Jurors convicted Martice Fuller of killing WF Kaylie Juga and attempting to kill her mother Stephanie in May 2019. The jury deliberated for three hours Friday, March 19. At one point, they came out of the jury room to review video of the shooting again. Shortly before 4 p.m., they issued a guilty verdict on all three counts. Martice Fuller broke down [do apes cry?] after the jury found him guilty. "She was at the beginning, the very start of the adult chapters of your life, at 15," said Kenosha County District Attorney Michael Graveley. He told jurors during his closing arguments there were too many coincidences in the case. "When you think about all this stuff together, you will conclude there is no way all that stuff could happen to a person who is innocent and falsely accused, the only reasonable explanation is the defendant is guilty," said Graveley. Fuller's cousin led police to the murder weapon. "The police only found the gun because Dontrell Seymour led them to it in a sewer in Racine County," said Deputy District Attorney Angelina Gabriele. Another cousin knew details of the murder before police did. "(She) is able, in the very early morning hours, to provide the information, the defendant my cousin, confessed to this crime with these details," said Graveley. After three hours of deliberations, the jury agreed. "Is this your verdict?" asked the judge of each juror. "Yes," they all answered individually. Fuller's family called out to him before leaving the courtroom. "We love you, Martice," said a relative. ![]() They declined to speak to CBS 58 leaving court, instead crying as they walked to their cars. The Juga family also declined to speak to CBS 58, walking to their cars in silence. Fuller is set to be sentenced in May. He faces life in prison.
