MERIDIAN, Miss. (WTOK) - Meridian police have made an arrest in the shooting death of a Tupelo man last year.

Ladarius Fowler, 20, was arrested in Alabama. Meridian authorities had a warrant issued for Fowler for armed robbery and murder.

They say Fowler was involved in the planning and subsequent robbery and shooting death of Bond Mansour, 22, on July 28, 2020 on Old Marion Rd. Mansour was in Meridian for a golf tournament when the incident happened.

Robert Byrd, 17, was also arrested and charged with capital murder.
