One killed, three wounded in latest shootings across NYC

Four people were shot in separate incidents across the city Tuesday and Wednesday — including a man gunned down as he sat in a car in Brooklyn, according to police.

Most recently, a 19-year-old man was blasted in the leg by a drive-by shooter at Osborn Street and Pitkin Avenue in Brownsville around 1:10 a.m. Wednesday, cops said.

Witnesses spotted a black car whizzing by with shots fired out of it, police said.

Cops tracked down the car and have one person in custody with charges pending.

The victim was taken to Brookdale University Hospital Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.

Around 11:40 p.m. Tuesday, a 22-year-old man was shot twice in the right arm on Clifton Place near Marcy Avenue in Bedford-Stuyvesant, police said.

He walked into NYC Health + Hospitals/Woodhull with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police did not immediately know what led up to the shooting.

Earlier in the day, Ricardo Pena, 37, was fatally shot as he sat inside a Kia Spectra on Bushwick Avenue near Powers Street in East Williamsburg, cops said.

The alleged shooter approached from the passenger’s side and opened fire, leaving Pena unconscious with gunshot wounds to the head, police said.

Pena and the shooter — who was still at large Wednesday — may have known each other, according to cops.

They had some type of “interaction” prior to the shooting, police said, but did not have further details on their exchange.

Pena was taken to NYC Health + Hospitals / Woodhull, where he was pronounced dead.

Tuesday’s earliest shooting happened around 2:10 a.m. at Palmetto Street near Seneca Avenue in Ridgewood, Queens.

The 30-year-old victim, who suffered non-life-threatening injuries, was described as uncooperative.

In total Tuesday, three shootings were reported with three victims, according to preliminary figures released by the NYPD.

On that day last year, which was a Sunday, three people were also shot, but in only two incidents.
