Wednesday, January 8th 2020

LAS VEGAS (KSNV) Police are searching for the person behind an attack on a senior aboard a Las Vegas bus last month.

Surveillance video from the bus, dated Dec. 13 around 5:15 p.m., shows two people talking before one person punches the other in the face.

Police say the suspect placed his feet over the victim's lap. The victim asked him to move.

The victim gets out of his seat before the attacker pushes him down into the aisle of the bus. The victim can be seen holding his face while the attacker goes to grab a backpack.

The attacker is described as a black male in his mid-30's wearing a blue hoodie with the letters "BWA" and a black skullcap.

A spokesman for Las Vegas Metropolitan Police said the victim lost an eye following the attack.

The victim is also a military vet who LVMPD says is "in good spirits" following the attack.
