Another person assaulted with fecal matter Monday night near U of T
Tues., Nov. 26, 2019

Police are investigating after a bucket of feces was dumped on a female victim late Monday night, the third such incident of feces being thrown at people in the city this week.

Police responded to a the call just before 12 a.m. Monday in the area of College Street and University Avenue.

“A young girl had a bucket of waste, feces, dumped on her,” said Const. David Hopkinson.

“I don’t know what to say, I’m at a loss, this is absolutely disgusting.”

The suspect is described as a black male, around 30 years of age, tall with a medium build, wearing a yellow construction hard hat, gloves and a blue shirt.

The suspect description is “very similar” to the suspect description of the York University feces assault on Sunday, Hopkinson said.

Police released photos of a suspect in the incident at York University, describing him as a male in his 20’s with a medium build. He is seen in photos wearing a black hat, a blue hoodie, light coloured pants and black gloves.

Yanni Dagonas, acting chief spokesperson for York University, confirmed Monday that an unknown man entered Scott Library and threw “a substance, suspected of containing fecal matter, on a student” at the institution.

'Absolutely disgusting': Toronto police search for suspect in a string of attacks with 'liquefied fecal matter'

Police in Toronto are searching for a man suspected in a string of assaults in which buckets of "liquefied fecal matter" have been dumped on people in Canada's most populated city.

The Toronto Police Service is investigating three incidents involving the same suspect, a black man "in his 20s to 30s, and of medium build," according to a Tuesday news release. All three cases are being described by police as "assaults."

“I don’t know what to say, I’m at a loss, this is absolutely disgusting," Toronto police Const. David Hopkinson was quoted in the Toronto Star.

The first incident happened Friday in the John P. Robarts Library on the University of Toronto's downtown campus. According to a statement from Toronto police, "the man poured the contents of a bucket he was carrying onto two unsuspecting people who were seated at a table in the library."

The second incident was reported Sunday at Scott Library at York University in Toronto. The suspect entered the library with a bucket and, again, poured its contents on an "unsuspecting person," police said.
