Darnell Hilliard is wanted by the NYPD.

Cops want to question a 21-year-old in connection with one of the viral water bucket incidents that caused outrage among officers and politicians, authorities said Tuesday.

Darnell Hilliard, also known as Donnell Hillard, was identified by witnesses as one of the people throwing buckets of water on officers during the July 27 encounter at West 115th Street and St. Nicholas Avenue, according to the NYPD.

Cops previously identified ten suspects in the Harlem bucket incident and arrested two others.

Gov. Andrew Cuomo slammed the officers’ inaction Monday in another water dousing incident in Brownsville that was captured on camera from the same weekend.

Three men were previously busted for their alleged involvement in that incident.

The NYPD released a photo of Hilliard Tuesday morning.

Video shows man wanted for NYPD water attacks attempt to run from arrest
By Bruce Golding and Stephanie Pagones
August 20, 2019 | 2:36pm | Updated

Disturbing cellphone video shows an ex-con wanted in a water-bucket attack on NYPD cops boldly challenging officers who tracked him down in the Bronx — then bolting when they try to place him under arrest.

The brazen display of contempt for the NYPD emerged Tuesday, one day after Police Commissioner James O’Neill fired Officer Daniel Pantaleo over the fatal arrest of Eric Garner in 2014.

The video shows Keith Ford, who’s on parole for an attempted robbery conviction, shouting angrily as three plainclothes members of the NYPD’s Bronx Warrant Squad attempt to put him in handcuffs, according to a law enforcement source familiar with the incident.

“What is this for?” Ford, 28, repeatedly demands near the start of the 2-minute clip.

When Ford — who’s 6 feet 5 and 255 pounds — shakes off one cop, a struggle ensues and the cops wind up facing off against Ford as he stands with his back to an iron fence.

After one cop draws a Taser, Ford pretends to give up and places his hands behind his back, only to turn and sprint away when the other two cops move in for the bust.

The cop fires the Taser , but Ford appears to yank the barb from his clothing as he leads the cops on a chase down the block and around a corner, where the clip shows him being placed under arrest against a wall.

Ford was charged with two counts of criminal mischief, obstructing governmental administration and disorderly conduct in the July 21 dousing of two uniformed cops at the corner of Boston Road and East 173rd Street.

That incident was one of several that took place during last month’s heat wave, and which led to criticism of Mayor Bill de Blasio from President Trump and others.

Ford was granted $1 bail at his arraignment but ordered held for allegedly violating terms of his parole, records show.

Crowd trashes cop car in Brooklyn on Halloween, shouts, ‘trick or treat, motherf—rs!’

Halloween revelers dumped piles of trash on a cop car in Brooklyn, and onlookers shouted, “Trick or treat, motherf—-rs!” — in the latest incident of disrespect to police, new footage reveals.

The stunning video shows nearly a dozen cardboard boxes and other garbage strewn across the top of a police vehicle parked on a street in Brownsville Thursday, according to police and the footage.

Two officers then begin to yank the boxes down as passersby laugh, shoot cellphone footage and mock them on East 95th Street near Clarkson Avenue, according to the video, which was posted on Facebook Thursday.

“This what happens in the hood. Police get trashed!” a man shooting the video can be heard snickering. “Oh man, look at that.”

In the distance, a second onlooker shouts, “Trick or treat, motherf—-rs!”

Police confirmed that the incident happened Thursday, and said they are investigating what happened.

The cop-trashing comes after months of hostility directed at NYPD officers, including incidents in which brazen young men in Harlem and Brownsville drenched police officers with buckets of water.

In another striking case, in August a member of a wild mob in the Bronx tossed a tin of Chinese food at a plainclothes cop while officers tried to make an arrest in August.

The man who posted the video of the trashed cop car, who goes by Corey Sykes on Facebook, didn’t return a request for comment Friday.

Harlem water douser arrested 3 months after viral anti-cop videos

By Craig McCarthy
November 5, 2019 | 5:48pm

Darnell Hilliard, 21, is also known as Donnell Hillard
DCPI

One of the goons who dumped water on an NYPD cop in a viral video has been arrested — more than three months later, cops said Tuesday.

Darnell Hilliard, a 21-year-old also known as Donnell Hillard, was picked up early Monday morning at his Harlem residence and slapped with a slew of charges, including resisting, obstruction, riot, assault, disorderly conduct and harassment, according to the NYPD.

Police say Hilliard is one of the people who tossed water on cops during a caught-on-camera incident at West 115th Street and St. Nicholas Avenue on July 21.

Two others were already facing charges over the incident, and 10 others have been identified as suspects.

The Harlem episode — along with another water-dousing incident in Brownsville — sparked outrage widespread outrage from the police unions, the top brass at the NYPD and even got a reaction from Vice President Mike Pence, who weighed in on Twitter.

Hilliard was arraigned Monday and held on $2,500 bail, according to court records. His defense attorney did not return calls for comment.
