The court document, filed Dec. 20, 2018, said that on or about July 17, 2018, the couple killed Parks.

The suspects are being held in the Leon County Detention Center, where they were booked after they were returned from a jail in Fairfax, Virginia.

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - A married couple arrested for the murder of a Tallahassee man met the victim through a dating app, court documents reveal.

The suspects, Jessie Daquan Price-Brown, 24, and Terrelle Lamar Price-Brown, 25, were booked into the Leon County Detention Center on Tuesday after their transfer there from a jail in Fairfax, Virgina. No bond amount was listed.

The couple's relationship includes soliciting other sexual partners through applications such as Grindr, according to a probable cause document.

A car owned by the victim, Parks, was found in possession of the two suspects.

Jessie and Terrelle Price-Brown stayed at the home of Derek Parks for several days in June
but left for Americus, Georgia, where Terrelle's mother lives.

Cell phone evidence and vehicle GPS evidence suggest that Parks gave them a ride to Americus, the court document said.

Witness testimony reveals that Jessie and Terrelle argued while they stayed with Terrelle's mother and Jessie left the residence and contacted Parks.

Parks drove Jessie to his apartment in Tallahassee, court documents said, and Jessie remained with Parks in Tallahassee for the next few days.

On July 16, Jessie was seen with Parks along with a U-Haul van that investigators determined that Parks rented that day for six hours. Parks was listed on the rental ticket as a secondary driver.

On July 19, Parks' mother reported to TPD that he had not heard from her son for a week, which was unusual, and law enforcement said that an investigation revealed that Parks was last seen in the company of the suspects on July 16.

On July 22, Parks car passed a government-controlled license plate reading device in Arlington, Virginia. Due to Parks being listed as missing, investigators began searching for the vehicle.

The Fairfax County Police Department found the the abandoned vehicle on August 1 and inside it found a pawn receipt with the name Terrelle Price-Brown" and fingerprints belonging to both Jessie and Terrelle.

On Sept. 13, information was learned that led to the recovery of Parks' body in Americus, Georgia.
