Updated: 10:57 AM, Nov 14, 2019

GLENDALE The Glendale Police Department has arrested a man they say was involved in a violent crime spree in which he sexually assaulted a woman and allegedly committed three separate armed robberies.

According to police, 32-year-old Jer'Marion Moses Imasuku was arrested on November 6 around 2 p.m. near 51st and Glendale avenues following a 48-hour crime spree in the city.

On October 30, Glendale police responded to the report of an 18-year-old woman who was allegedly kidnapped and sexually assaulted by Imasuku. Imasuku allegedly told the woman he would kill her multiple times.

The victim told police she was walking her puppy down the street when Imasuku allegedly "drove up to her quickly and stunned her with his car door."

The woman attempted to scream and fight Imasuku off, but he reportedly told her if she did not stop screaming, he would cut her with a knife. As the woman continued to fight Imasuku, he cut her and forced her into his vehicle, police say.

Imasuku allegedly took the woman to another location where sexually assaulted her and attempted to murder her twice, Glendale police say.

The woman was able to escape from Imasuku and call 911; however, Imasuku allegedly stole the woman's belongings, including her 8-week-old puppy, Kiki.

On Friday, November 1 around 11:30 p.m., Glendale police say they responded to an armed robbery at a Circle K near 51st Avenue and Indian School Road. The suspect, who later identified as Imasuku, was wearing a red hoodie with a Jack Skellington mask. Court documents show that Imasuku allegedly pulled out a semi-automatic handgun and pointed it at the clerk, demanding money from the register. The clerk gave Imasuku approximately $100. Imasuku reportedly fled in a vehicle later identified as a dark blue Mountaineer.

Later in the night, Glendale police responded to the armed robbery of a Motel 6 near 59th and Glendale avenues. Police say at this robbery, Imasuku was wearing a surgical mask and baseball hat. Again, Imasuku demanded money and pointed a semi-automatic handgun at the motel employee. The employee reportedly handed Imasuku $230.

On November 2 around 11:30 p.m., Glendale police responded to a third robbery at an Easy Trip 76 gas station near 51st Avenue and Olive. This time, Imasuku was reportedly wearing a hockey mask like Jason from Friday the 13th. Imasuku allegedly pointed a semi-automatic handgun at the clerk, demanded money, and fled after the clerk placed approximately $150 into a bag.

Following the robberies, Glendale police, along with detectives from the Special Victims Unit and Violent Crimes Unit were able to work together and develop probable cause to arrest Imasuku.

Court documents show that Glendale police made contact with Imasuku on November 5 when they responded to reports of a family fight. Police say on November 5, Imasuku fled from police in the Mountaineer, leading to a pursuit where Imasuku ran several red lights. Imasuku's girlfriend, who is currently pregnant, positively identified Imasuku as the person driving the Mountaineer to police.

On November 6, police arrested Imasuku at his apartment near 51st Avenue and Indian School Road around 2 p.m.

Glendale police say that as of Thursday, the dog has not been found.
