Police searching for man wanted for abducting, raping girl in Woodbridge

WOODBRIDGE, Va. (ABC7) - Investigators are searching for a man accused of abducting and raping a girl in Woodbridge.

The victim was on her way to school when an unknown man confronted and grabbed her in the 14200 block of Essex Drive, according to Prince William County Police.

Authorities say the man allegedly forced his way into a home and attacked a woman before leaving the area with the girl.

According to police, the man took the girl to an unknown location on Cumberland Drive and sexually assaulted her.

After the incident, the man let her go and left the area.

Prince William County Police say the suspect is a 45-year-old black man who is approximately 5-foot-7. He has a thin build, short hair, described as unshaven, and was wearing a black shirt with black shorts. Police informed schools in the area of the incident as a precaution.

Police: Man arrested for abduction, sexual assault of girl in Woodbridge



WOODBRIDGE, Va. (ABC7) - Prince William County Police have arrested a man wanted in connection to the abduction and sexual assault of an 11-year-old girl in Woodbridge.

Police say the girl was on her way to school when an unknown man, later identified as 26-year-old Adam-Seth Walter, confronted and grabbed her while implying he had a weapon in the 14200 block of Essex Drive on Tuesday morning.

A 34-year-old woman was in front of her home when she witnessed the man grabbing the girl, police say. That's when police say Walter hit the woman several times then forced her and the girl into the home.
