Siblings spent years squatting in Chelsea building: cops

Three siblings allegedly spent the last two years squatting inside a Manhattan building partially owned by the Korean American Association of Greater New York, law enforcement sources said Wednesday.

Two brothers, 51 and 42, and their sister, 32, were busted after cops were called to the Chelsea building at 149 W. 24th St. around 10:30 a.m. for a report of a suspicious package, sources and cops said.

Charges were still pending.

Sources say the trio had been squatting on the third floor of the six-story building near Seventh Avenue.

A tenant said the siblings have been illegally living in a small room in the building — where the Korean American Association of Greater New York occupies the top floor.

“He’s been squatting with his brother and sister — never pay rent, no contract, and he caused a lot of problems,” said the tenant, who asked to remain anonymous.

“The landlord was in the process to evict him and all of the tenants signed because he caused a lot of problems. Sanitary issues and health issues … when you pass [the apartment], it smells a lot,” the resident said.

The tenant claimed that other building residents called the police after the siblings received several packages — some that appeared to resemble real guns.

“Many tenants are scared because of the gun packages, so we decided to call the police,” the woman said.

Moments before his arrest, a man who identified himself as Alfredo Martinez, one of the siblings, told The Post that he has “been receiving lots of packages — movie props and fake guns” because he is in the film business.

“I’ve been receiving a lot of film props in the mail legally,” the man said by phone before he was hauled away by cops.

A person who answered the phone Tuesday at the Korean American Association of Greater New York said, “There’s nothing we can say at the moment,” before hanging up.
Those who find the truth hateful just hate hearing the truth.

A mind is a terrible thing to waste.....on a nigger.

If you're not catching flak, you're not over the target.
