More than a dozen protestors were taken away in cuffs during an anti-ICE demonstration in Lower Manhattan Thursday evening.

The rally started in Foley Square and made its way down to World Trade Center to speak out against allegation of unwanted hysterectomies at the border , according to videos and accounts from the scene.

The group of demonstrators was about 50 to 60 people in total.

Videos posted to Twitter show a heavy police presence of police and bike cops creating a barricade to keep the protestors from heading into the street.

An officer on the scene told a Post report that “a whole bunch of people were arrested.”

A total of 22 people were busted by the NYPD during an anti-ICE demonstration in Lower Manhattan on Thursday evening, cops said Friday.

Sixteen men and six women were arrested during the rally held in part against recent allegations of unwanted hysterectomies and other gynecological procedures done on immigrant women while detained at an ICE facility in Georgia.

The demonstration of up to 60 people began in Foley Square and then made its way down to the World Trade Center.

Ten people received desk appearance tickets – mostly for obstructing governmental administration – while a dozen were issued summonses for disorderly conduct, cops said.

According to police, those nabbed include: Christian Silva, 21, of Brooklyn, Marina Espinet, 24, of Brooklyn, Liam Fletcher, 26 of Nyack, Maximillion Silver, 31, of Brooklyn, and Hannah Morrison, 21, of Manhattan.

They were all charged with obstructing governmental administration.

Michael Clancy, 45, of Brooklyn was slapped with charges of criminal possession of a weapon and unlawful possession of marijuana, cops said.

Police sources say Clancy was found wielding a metal baton.

Also arrested during the rally were Brooklynites Reuben Mishan, 20, who was charged with obstructing governmental administration and criminal possession of a weapon; Adelina Ceretto, 23, who was charged with resisting arrest; and Vivian Lee, 20, who was hit with both charges of obstructing governmental administration and resisting arrest, cops said.

Malik Bowman, 26, of Yonkers was charged with resisting arrest, obstructing governmental administration and criminal possession of a controlled substance during the rally, police said.

No one was hurt during the demonstrations, according to police.

The rally drew a heavy police presence that included bike cops who created a barricade to keep demonstrators from heading into the street.

One of the protesters had pushed a cop, and most were placed in custody for blocking the roadway, police sources said.

The alleged unwanted gynecological procedures that the demonstrators were protesting against allegedly happened at the Irwin County Detention Center in Ocilla, Ga.

Those allegations were brought to light this week, thanks to a whistleblower complaint from a nurse at the facility.

In a statement Friday, ICE Acting Director Tony Pham said, “If there is any truth to these allegations, it is my commitment to make the corrections necessary to ensure we continue to prioritize the health, welfare and safety of ICE detainees.”
