TULSA, Oklahoma -

Police arrested a 16-year-old after an armed robbery outside a Tulsa business late Sunday. They say the armed robbery was one of several crimes the teen was involved in.

Sgt. Dave Walker says Deonte Green is the same person who shot and killed a father in front of his wife and kids Sunday afternoon, October 1. That victim has been identified as Mathew Shane Anderson, a social studies teacher at Oneta Ridge Middle School.

The most recent crime took place at about 11:20 Sunday night. Police say Green robbed a couple sitting in their car in the parking lot of Incredible Pizza in the 8300 block of East 71st Street.

Sgt Walker says Green was spotted by officers a short time later and arrested.

Police say it all started Sunday morning, when officers were called to an armed robbery in the 6500 block of East 71st Street.

Police say Green kidnapped an elderly couple from their home and forced them to drive to an ATM and withdraw cash. He then forced the couple back to their home where he sexually assaulted the woman.

Sgt. Walker says Green then ran off.

At about 12:30 p.m., police say Green met a woman and her two daughters leaving their home near East 67th Street South and 89th East Avenue.

Sgt. Walker says Green got into a struggle with Anderson, the woman's 44-year-old husband. During that struggle, the teacher was shot in the head.

Police say Green was later identified as a person who was believed to have broken into homes in the area.

Sgt. Dave Walker says Green was arrested and interviewed and then booked into the Tulsa County jail on complaints including murder, armed robbery and sexual assault.
