HPD releases sketch of kidnapping suspect in NE Houston
8:44 AM. EST November 04, 2016

HOUSTON Police have released composite sketch of a suspect wanted in a kidnapping incident that occurred in northeast Houston last month.

According to the Houston Police Department, it happened at 8:15 a.m. in the 7600 block of Tidwell Road on Oct. 18.

The suspect is described only as a black male about 40 to 50 years of age, with a medium build, brown eyes, bald and no facial hair. He has distinctive loose skin under his chin, similar to a "double chin" and was wearing navy blue cargo shorts and a black polo T-shirt.

On Oct. 18, a juvenile male, 13, was walking to school heading west when he crossed a bridge. Then a white van approached and stopped next to him.

The suspect driver asked the juvenile if he needed a ride to school. Believing it was a van that picked up children to go to school, the boy got into the front passenger seat of the van.

At some point, the suspect inappropriately touched the boy, and then offered him money to perform sexual acts.

When the boy resisted, the suspect tried to forcibly place the boy's hand in his lap. When the vehicle stopped at a red light, the boy managed to roll down the window, open the door from the outside and flee from the vehicle.
