York Police charge 2 people, seek 3rd suspect in human trafficking probe
21-year-old Burlington woman, 22-year-old Brampton man face multiple charges

York police have charged two people and are searching for a third in connection with a human trafficking investigation.
Officers launched an investigation March 7 after a victim came forward to police with information and looking for assistance, police said in a news release.
As a result of the probe, York Regional Police arrested and charged a 21-year-old Burlington woman a 22-year-old Brampton man.

Hes wanted for trafficking in persons, assault, withholding or destroying documents in relation to trafficking in persons and fail to comply with recognizance, according to York Regional Police.
Alexandra Manner, 21, of Burlington, who also goes by the alias Lexy, faces multiple charges including trafficking in persons, material benefit resulting from trafficking in persons, material benefit from sexual services, possession of property obtained by Crime Over $5,000 and possession of cannabis
Deyshon Palmer, 22, of Brampton, who uses the alias Wednesday, has been charged with trafficking in persons, material benefit resulting from trafficking in persons, material benefit from sexual services, procuring/exercising control, use of a firearm during the commission of an offence, pointing a firearm, possession of a weapon, possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000 and possession of cannabis.
