Gianaris calls for hate-crime probe over homophobic sign in Queens subway station

State Sen. Mike Gianaris has asked Police Commissioner James O’Neill to open a hate crimes probe into a homophobic sign discovered in a Queens subway station Friday.

“Hate is a crisis in our communities,” the Queens Democrat wrote in a statement. “I was notified by local residents earlier today of an anti-LGBT hand-drawn sign posted at the Seneca Avenue M-Train station. This is horrifying and unacceptable.”

He added: “I am asking that the NYPD Investigate this incident as a hate crime.”

The sign, which read “Kill all fa—-s” was spotted at the Seneca Street M-train stop in Queens’s Ridgewood neighborhood on Friday.

The Post is not publishing pictures of the sign, which circulated on Twitter.

“There is absolutely no place for hate in our system,” said MTA spokesman Maxwell Young. “We’ve removed the disgusting graffiti, and the NYPD was on scene and has opened up an investigation.”

The NYPD confirmed it is probing the incident.
Those who find the truth hateful just hate hearing the truth.

A mind is a terrible thing to waste.....on a nigger.

If you're not catching flak, you're not over the target.
