Students from Ethical Culture Fieldston School block entrances to the administration building in the Bronx.

Roughly 50 students at the tony Ethical Culture Fieldston School in Riverdale staged a sit-in Monday morning to protest what they deemed a lax administrative response to a racist student video.

The protesters sat down around 9 a.m. with the intention of blocking offices at the famously liberal Bronx school. They vowed to remain overnight if necessary.

The protest comes after video surfaced last month showing several Fieldston students using the phrase “crack n—-” and homophobic language at an off-campus gathering.

School officials said the footage — taken several years ago — was unacceptable and that one of the kids involved has withdrawn.

Other students depicted in the video remain at the school and were subjected to discipline, officials said.

But some students ripped Fieldston brass, including principal Jessica Bagby, for failing to adequately crack down on “systemic” racism at the $50,000-a-year school.

“While the video and questionable disciplinary decisions following its release have caused much pain and suffering for Fieldston students, our focus now is to confront the bias and intolerance within our community that has allowed such hate to manifest itself,” the group, called #StudentsofColorMatter, said in a press release sent out Sunday night.

Monday’s protesters brandished a lengthy list of demands and insisted that they be addressed by school administrators before they would agree to decamp. Journalists were able to briefly observe the students, who sat peacefully in a stairwell inside the school building.

Their ultimatums included a “global investigation into systemic racism at Fieldston,” a written apology from each of the students involved in the video, a copy of the official disciplinary decision against them, and a guarantee “that the victimized students are granted academic leniency” through the year, according to the release.

“We are in touch with the group,” the school said in a statement to parents.

Students who did not participate in the activism noted the disruption but declined to comment Monday.

Several parents of the protesting students were also present at the gathering but also declined to comment.
Those who find the truth hateful just hate hearing the truth.

A mind is a terrible thing to waste.....on a nigger.

If you're not catching flak, you're not over the target.
