ECSO: Pensacola teen charged in shooting and kidnapping after drug deal goes bad
Quote:
A 17-year-old has been arrested in connection to a shooting that authorities say involved a drug deal gone wrong and a kidnapping victim and that resulted in two people being shot.
The shooting occurred Oct. 24 at the Xpress Mart gas station at 202 E. Olive Road in Pensacola.
The 17-year-old, Quaundre McGee, was arrested Tuesday at a home in the 3200 block of West Gadsden Street, according to ECSO spokeswoman Amber Southard.
He was charged with first-degree premeditated attempted murder, kidnapping, aggravated battery and destruction of evidence.
The teenager was one of three suspects who authorities believe were involved in the incident, described in arrest reports as a "transaction for the sale of illegal narcotics."

One of McGee’s suspected accomplices, Tawanna Quanethia Lewis, was previously arrested. The 40-year-old Pensacola woman was arrested Nov. 13 and charged with attempted homicide, kidnapping, aggravated battery and obstructing justice. She was booked into the Escambia County Jail with a $1.5 million bond.

A third suspect, Michael DeWayne Robinson, remained at large as of Wednesday afternoon, according to Southard. Warrants charge Robinson with attempted homicide, kidnapping and aggravated battery.
