Boynton Beach police arrested two caretakers from the Colonial Assisted Living facility and accused them of using duct tape to restrain a 67-year-old woman suffering from dementia.

The elderly woman was tied to a chair in another patient’s room and duct tape was used to tape her mouth shut.

Lashron Williams, 44, and Phygelle Brudent, 52
, were arrested each on charges of false imprisonment and elder abuse Thursday. The two women are being held at the Main Detention Center in West Palm Beach.
