Prison psychologist was fired after complaining about inmate abuse: suit

A psychologist for inmates at a Westchester state prison says she was wrongfully fired after complaining that other employees had ridiculed, discriminated against and mistreated prisoners, according to her new lawsuit.

Karin Gepp — who started working at Sing Sing Correctional Facility in Ossining in October 2017 — says one of her supervisors, Michael Aitchison, called inmates “anti-social” “lame ducks,” or “thugs” whom he “couldn’t be bothered” to help, according to her federal lawsuit, which was filed in Manhattan.

Aitchison and other workers on multiple occasions also “ridiculed and mocked a transgender inmate, saying the detainment in a corrections facility [sic] was “her honeymoon,” and refused to call her by her preferred pronoun knowing it “provoked the inmate,” the court papers say.

Aitchison in November 2017 also “intentionally” angered and intimidated mentally disturbed inmates during rounds, Gepp claims in the lawsuit.

A rep with the Department of Corrections declined to comment.

Aitchison did not return a request for comment.
Those who find the truth hateful just hate hearing the truth.

A mind is a terrible thing to waste.....on a nigger.

If you're not catching flak, you're not over the target.
