An off-duty NYPD officer was arrested in Brooklyn early Sunday after he smashed into a parked car while driving the wrong way on a one-way street, police said.

Officer Harry Sepulveda, 31, slammed into the unoccupied car at Wythe Avenue and North 12th Street, in Greenpoint, around 2 a.m., according to authorities.

He was charged with driving while ability impaired and refusing to take a Breathalyzer test, authorities said. The question of whether Sepulveda was drunk or high on drugs is still under investigation, police said.

Police could not say whether anyone was in the car with the officer but added there were no injuries in the crash.

When asked if he had any prior arrests, the NYPD cited Section 50-a of the state Civil Rights Law, which prohibits the release of police officers’ personnel records.

Sepulveda has been on the force for more than 10 years, police said. It was unclear if he would be suspended or otherwise disciplined.

The officer took home $129,636 in total pay in 2017 from the NYPD, including his $85,292 base rate and overtime, according to SeeThroughNY.
