Abilene man indicted on multiple charges of sexual assault
UPDATED: 8:03 AM Nov 20 2015

ABILENE, Texas -

An Abilene man was indicted on multiple charges of aggravated sexual assault and aggravated assault after allegedly using a gun to force several women to perform sex acts with him.

Court records state that 28-year-old Lavanders Muskin approached two women on Aug. 3 in south Abilene and asked if they wanted to buy weed. When the women refused, Muskin lingered and then pulled a gun out, pointing it at the two women and forcing them to disrobe.

One of the women was able to escape and call the police, but the other was forced inside a residence and to perform sex acts with Muskin, according to court documents. The two women identified Muskin during a police lineup.

Another woman reported to Abilene police that she had been sexually assaulted while staying at a residence in the 5000 block of Congress, according to court records. That residence matched the address listed for Muskin, according to Taylor County Jail records.

Records say the woman testified she was woken up around 9 a.m. Aug 10 with Muskin hovering over her. She said Muskin put tape over her mouth, held a gun to her head, and forced himself on her.
