The mom of the teen accused of fatally stabbing a 17-year-old boy in Brooklyn was busted for taking the knife from her son following the attack, cops said.

Barbara Galloza, 38, was arrested Tuesday night and charged with hindering prosecution and tampering with physical evidence for disposing of the knife her son allegedly used in Monday slaying, police said.

She was arraigned in Brooklyn Criminal court on Wednesday morning and ordered held on $35,000 bond or $20,000 cash.

Galloza’s son, 17-year-old David Lopez, is accused of plunging the blade into the upper chest of Rohan Burke, also 17, around 4 p.m. Monday near East 17th Street and Avenue M in Midwood.

During Galloza’s arraignment, Assistant District Attorney Wilfredo Cotto said that the mom was standing nearby when Lopez allegedly stabbed the victim and “immediately grabbed the knife from the suspect’s hand.”

“The mother refused to admit that she took the knife, and refused to reveal the knife’s location,” Cotto said.

The knife has not been recovered by police.

Galloza’s defense attorney Adam Uris called the allegations “dubious…at best” in court, adding that Galloza “vehemently denies the allegations.”

“My client called 911 to report that an incident had occurred because her son had been attacked,” Uris said, adding that Galloza claims she was eating at a nearby restaurant when “her son came in to tell her.”

Galloza, a mother of five who lives in a Bronx homeless shelter with her 1-year-old child, has no criminal record, her lawyer said.

“She’s alleged to have removed a weapon – they’ve offered no basis of proof,” said Uris.

Police say Galloza is seen on surveillance video taking the knife, but Uris said he has not “been provided with any evidence at all, including the video.”

Galloza’s next court date is set for May 6.

Meanwhile, Lopez, who turned himself in at the 70th Precinct station house on Tuesday wearing a prom-style tuxedo, was charged Wednesday morning with murder and criminal possession of a weapon.
