Maserati driver released on bail

updated 5:48 AM, Aug 12, 2020

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) The man who was indicted after a deadly crash involving a Maserati in South Buffalo last October has been released on bail.

The Erie County Sheriff's Office confirmed to 7 Eyewitness News that Antonio D. Brown was released on Tuesday after satisfying the terms of the bail/bond set by the arraignment judge.

Brown was charged with aggravated vehicular homicide, vehicular manslaughter and manslaughter.

That crash killed Kristin LaBruno and Anthony Twentyfive III.

Despite an arrest and very serious charges filed against Antonio D. Brown, there are still many questions about the investigation into this deadly South Buffalo crash.

The 7 Eyewitness News I-Team is suing the Buffalo Police Department, over its refusal to release documentation to the public, detailing the process used to get information from the black boxes.

Buffalo police say the Erie County District Attorney is not allowing them to release that documentation.
