Two men were stabbed and seriously injured in separate, random attempted robberies in the Bronx over the course of a few hours, according to authorities.

The first in the pair of attacks was reported around 9:15 a.m. June 16, in the area of Rider Avenue and East 144th Street in Mott Haven, where two strangers approached a 29-year-old homeless man, cops said late Monday.

They demanded the manís property, at which point one of the suspects, who was holding a knife, stabbed him twice in the torso.

The duo took his backpack and fled, leaving their bleeding victim behind. Medics transported the man to Lincoln Medical Center in serious but stable condition, cops said.

The pair struck again just hours later and only about two blocks away on Canal Place near East 141st Street, where they attacked their second victim, a 34-year-old, around 2:20 p.m., police said.

Again, they demanded his property, and the knife-wielding suspect stabbed him once in the torso.

The victim was also taken to Lincoln Medical Center in serious but stable condition, cops said. His attackers ran off empty-handed.

Cops provided a video of the suspects, whom they described as 20 to 30 years old.
