A 15-hour manhunt in Wisconsin came to an end early Friday morning when police apprehended a 15-year-old boy suspected of killing his girlfriend and injuring her mother.

Detectives with the Kenosha Police Department detained Martice Fuller in Racine, Wisconsin, just before 6.30am in connection to the shooting death of 16-year-old Kaylie Juga.

Juga’s mother, 39-year-old Stephanie Juga, was wounded and remained hospitalized in a stable condition Friday.

Police launched a manhunt for Fuller, which ended in Racine, Wisconsin, at 6.25am Friday

Police said in a press release that Fuller had a relationship with Kaylie. He was believed to have fled the Juga family's home in the 10900 block of 66 Street in Kenosha before 3pm on Thursday.

When police were summoned to the house, they found the mother and daughter suffering from gunshot wounds. Kaylie was pronounced dead at the scene.

Stephanie Juga is a professional photographer and a married mother-of-three. Both her husband and eldest son serve in the US Army.

Tyler Juga addressed his beloved younger sister's slaying in a Facebook post early Friday, which read in part: 'He won't get away with this I promise you that.'

During the police manhunt, Tyler shared photos of Martice Fuller, writing in a caption: 'Better hurry up and find this piece of s***. Justice will be f***ing brought.'

Fuller was previously enrolled in Mary D Bradford High School, where he played football and his girlfriend Kaylie was a cheerleader

Fuller was enrolled as an eSchool student in Kenosha Unified School District, and previously as a student at Mary D Bradford High School, where he played football and Kaylie was a cheerleader.

Juga’s social media posts over the past year paint a picture of her turbulent romantic relationship with Fuller, where her repeated and effusive declarations of love for her boyfriend were intermingled with accusations of infidelity and messages expressing despair.

On March 9, Kaylie sent out what would turn out to be her final tweet, writing: ‘Someone will continue to use you when they know they can take avantage [sic] of you because they know you will always be there for you no matter how they treat you , I promise you that person will use that for there advantage. Start having respect for yourself & don’t let that happen!’

Fuller is expected to make his initial court appearance on Monday to face possible charges of first-degree intentional homicide, attempted first-degree intentional homicide and armed burglary.

A GoFundMe campaign was launched on Friday to help the Juga family with Stephanie's medical expenses and her daughter's funeral. (https://www.gofundme.com/f/juga-family-recovery)
