DENISON, Tex. (KXII) - A man arrested for the murder of a Denison man at his business was in court Thursday morning.

48-year-old Tyrone;) Sommers was arrested in November for the shooting of Robert Allen.

Allen was found dead Halloween night at Allen's Plumbing.

Prosecutors say Sommers worked together with Timothy Barnum to kill Allen.

They say Barnum had a prior relationship with Allen's daughter.

Court records show Sommers has a pre-trial hearing scheduled in June.

Investigators said Barnum's motive is believed to be connected to Allen's daughter.

"That could be partial to the motive for this murder as well, as well as Allen's family's desire to limit Mr. Barnum's visitation with the child that he had with Robert Allen's daughter," explained District Attorney Brett Smith.

Robert leaves behind his beloved family, wife of 32 years, Stacy Allen of Denison, TX; children, Nicholas Allen and wife, Chelsea of Denison, TX; daughters, Brittany Lehnertz and husband, Preston of Gainesville, TX; Kierston Allen of Denison, TX; Amanda Allen of Denison, TX; Destiny Patterson of Denison, TX; Trey Patterson of Denison, TX and Niki Patterson of Denison, TX
