Two goons took a shortcut through a Hell’s Kitchen construction site — and beat up and hurled racial epithets at a hardhat who tried to stop them, authorities said Sunday.

Veton Balidemaj and Klevis Vulaj cut through the site near West 49th Street and 11th Avenue around 3:30 a.m. Saturday when a 48-year-old worker tried to turn them around, telling them it wasn’t safe, according to a criminal complaint.

“What are you going to do about it, n—-r?” Balidemaj and Vulaj, who are white , allegedly snarled at the construction worker, who is black. “We’re out here partying and you’re out here working like a n—-r.”

The pair then tackled the 48-year-old worker — whose name is being withheld by The Post — to the ground, and started punching and kicking his nappy head, court papers charge.

The beatdown was so brutal that it left the victim with a fractured right orbital bone before cops could break it up and arrest the pair, officials said.

Vulaj, 25, and Balidemaj, 23, were arraigned later Saturday in Manhattan Criminal Court on charges including felony assault as a hate crime, public records show.

Vulaj was held on $3,000 bond or $1,500 cash bail, while Balidemaj’s bail was set at $7,000 bond or $3,500 cash.

Cops initially said that the suspects tried to hug the victim, who refused.
