Man accused of killing brotherís dog remains jailed

KILLEEN, Texas (KWTX) A Killeen man accused of killing his brotherís dog during an argument remains jailed in lieu of bonds totaling $65,000.

Terry Jermaine Garmon, 38, is charged with cruelty to non-livestock animals, terroristic threat of a family member, possession of a controlled substance, and discharge of a firearm, according to online records.

Heís held without bond on an outstanding warrant, online records show.

Garmon was arrested on Aug. 22 in connection with the death of the dog on Aug. 8.

According to an arrest warrant released Wednesday, he was arguing with his brother at residence in the 1100 block of Leslie Circle.

The brother told an investigator that during the argument, Garmon ďwent in his apartment and came back and produced a handgun and shot in the dog in the head causing his death.Ē

The dog was outside at the time.
