This is not the kind of show-and-tell he had in mind.

A man brought a gun to a Harlem elementary school parent-teacher conference, and had to make a run for it when it fell out of his pocket and onto the floor, cops said.

The man was with a woman at MS 45 on First Ave. to speak with her 6-year-old sonís teacher when the bizarre scene occurred around 2:30 p.m. Tuesday.

While they were standing in a third floor hallway, the man bent down to tie the childís shoe, police said.

But when he stood up, the gun fell from his jacket pocket and hit the floor in full view of a teacher.

The man then quickly scooped up the gun and told the woman child it was time to spit, cops said.

The trio ran into a stairwell and fled the building before the man disappeared while running north on First Ave.

The man is still being sought by police.
