Toronto man accused of secretly filming, posting sex encounters online
Toronto police concerned there may be more victims


Investigators are concerned there could be more victims after Toronto police allege a man secretly filmed sexual encounters with women and posted the videos online.
According to police, a man met two women, aged 21 and 22, on an online dating website in March 2017. The man reportedly met and engaged in sexual activity with the women, which he allegedly secretly recorded and published online.
Tian Zhou, [ Chinese, pinyin, mainland name] 24, of Toronto, was arrested Saturday, Sept. 16 and charged with one count each of sexual assault, voyeurism and publishing intimate media without consent.

The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of an arrest in an Sexual Assault/Voyeurism investigation.

It is alleged that:

- in March 2017 a man, 24, met two women, 21 and 22, on a dating website

- the man engaged in sexual activity with both women and videotaped the sexual activity without their knowledge
- the video footage was then uploaded to the internet without the victims' knowledge

On Saturday, September 16, 2017, Tian Zhou, 24, of Toronto, was arrested and charged with;

1) Voyeurism
2) Publishing Intimate Image Without Consent
3) Sex assault

He was scheduled to appear in court at Old City Hall on Sunday, September 17, 2017, 10 a.m., room 101.

Police are concerned there may be other victims.
