PHOENIX - Police say a 40-year-old man has died after being stabbed on a Phoenix light rail platform on Saturday night.

According to the Phoenix Police Department, a fight occurred before 9 p.m. at the 19th and Dunlap avenues platform.

Police say two men were involved in an argument when one stabbed the other and fled the area.

The victim was taken to the hospital where he was later pronounced dead, police said.

The suspect is described as African American, 25 to 30 years old, 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighing around 170 pounds.

He was last seen wearing a white shirt, black pants, and was carrying a black backpack with colored accents.

Police have arrested a suspect who stabbed a man to death at a Phoenix light rail station, according to Phoenix police Sgt. Vincent Lewis.

Phoenix police developed probable cause to arrest and book 38-year-old Barry Lee Morris, Jr., on Monday. He faces one count of second-degree murder.
