Duluth police arrest 5 in killing of St. Paul copís son

DULUTH, Minn. ó Police have arrested five people in connection with last monthís shooting death of a student from the University of Minnesota-Duluth.

William Andrew Grahek, who grew up in Centerville, was the son of a St. Paul police sergeant.

The Duluth Police Department, along with members of the Lake Superior Drug and Violent Crimes Task Force, arrested four people Friday in the Feb. 14 death of Grahek, 22. A fifth suspect was already in custody.

Deandre Demetrius Davenport, 22; Noah Duane Baker, 20; Noah Anthony Charles King, 19; Tara Rai Baker, 23; and Xavier Alfred Haywood, 27, were all being held in the St. Louis County Jail.

Davenport, Noah Baker and King were being held on suspicion of second-degree intentional homicide; Tara Baker on suspicion of aiding and abetting a second-degree intentional homicide; and Haywood on suspicion of aiding an offender, Duluth police reported.

Noah Baker was arrested Feb. 17 on unrelated charges and had remained in custody.

Grahek was fatally shot Feb. 14 at a home in Duluthís East Hillside neighborhood.
