LAKE COUNTY, Fla. - A Lake County man who detectives said was stabbed by a woman whom he was attempting to rape is facing new charges.

Robert Pascual, 22, is accused of attempting to rape a woman in the parking lot of a Clermont apartment complex earlier this month.

The victim grabbed a knife from her vehicle and stabbed Pascual, deputies said.

He was found bloodied underneath a stairwell.

Pascual was charged a week later with the rape of an 11-year-old girl in Mount Dora last summer.

Since his arrest, two more women at the Clermont apartment complex have come forward saying they recognized Pascual on the news as the man who assaulted them in the parking lot.
