ELYRIA Police suspect the Elyria couple killed in a double shooting Sunday was targeted.

I dont think this was just a random act, Elyria police Capt. Chris Costantino said.

Police were called to 128 Fox Hill Lane about 10 p.m. Sunday for a report of gunshots in the area and found Michael L. Lewis, 32, and Fannie Lewis, 22, dead inside a rented Chevrolet Traverse with New York license plates.

Chief Deputy Lorain County Coroner Frank Miller said Michael Lewis was shot twice in the head while Fannie Lewis was shot twice in the back.
