3 victims killed in quintuple shooting in KC identified

Three people are dead and two were seriously wounded following a shooting Thursday night.

The shooting happened about 9:30 p.m. at the Trails at the Ridge apartment complex in the 8600 block of E. 62nd St.

Officers say all five victims were in the same apartment.

Police say three adults were killed.

On Friday, the victims of the shooting were identified as 29-year-old Darrell E. Thomas, 28-year-old Victoria Brown and 20-year-old Ali R. Brown.

A child and another adult were sent to an area hospital in serious condition.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - One of the victims in Thursday night's triple homicide is the daughter of a former mayor from a suburb outside St. Louis.

Ali Brown's family and friends across the state and locally are mourning her death.

In Kansas City, Ali Brown also met Ryan Edwards, her boyfriend of more than a year.

"She always brought me up when I was down, I try to do the same for her--the best thing that ever happened to me," Edwards said.

Ali Brown's 2-year-old son and another victim remain in the hospital.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - UPDATE 1/14/2016 6:00PM: Police have released descriptions for three suspects in the triple murder in Kansas City, Missouri on Thursday.

One suspect is described as a black man with a light complexion and shoulder-length dreadlocks. The second is a black male who was wearing a light gray hoodie at the time. A third suspect as a black male.

Three people were killed, including 20-year-old Ali Brown. Brown’s two year old son Karson was seriously injured along with another adult.
