According to the Memphis Police Department, Aaron Marr, 18, and Jeylon Harvey, 19, have been identified as suspects in the December 10 murder. Harvey and Marr were arrested and charged with first degree murder, criminal attempt felony to wit: first degree murder (5 counts) and possess/employ firearm during dangerous felony.

McDonald was pronounced dead on the scene by officers responding after a shooting at a party at Country Squire Apartments in Cordova. The preliminary investigation showed two males and one female were denied entry to the party, which started an argument. The suspects walked away and then began shooting at those inside the party before fleeing in a white vehicle.
