Court documents: N.H. man pours gasoline over twin sister, lights fire

A man is facing charges after a fire left a woman seriously burned in New Hampshire.

Dwyane Crawford, 37, of Concord, was charged with arson, attempted first-degree murder, first-degree assault, reckless conduct and criminal mischief.

Fire officials responded to the Woodbine Avenue home around 2:45 a.m. and saw smoke coming from a second-floor window.

According to court documents, Crawford told police he deliberately lit his twin sister on fire. The woman told her two sons that Crawford poured gasoline on her before setting the blaze, police said.

The woman suffered serious burn injuries to her upper body, according to court documents. She was transported to Concord Hospital and then transferred to a hospital in Boston for treatment, police said.

A judge ordered Crawford be held without bail before an arraignment on Friday.

The incident remains under investigation, police said.
