Obama Used A Pseudonym In Emails With Clinton, FBI Documents Reveal

Link: http://www.prisonplanet.com/obama-used-a-pseudonym-in-emails-with-clinton-fbi-documents-reveal.html

September 24, 2016

President Barack Obama used a pseudonym in email communications with Hillary Clinton and others, according to FBI records made public Friday.

The disclosure came as the FBI released its second batch of documents from its investigation into Clinton’s private email server during her tenure as secretary of state.

The 189 pages the bureau released includes interviews with some of Clinton’s closest aides, such as Huma Abedin and Cheryl Mills; senior State Department officials; and even Marcel Lazar, better known as the Romanian hacker “Guccifer.”

In an April 5, 2016 interview with the FBI, Abedin was shown an email exchange between Clinton and Obama, but the longtime Clinton aide did not recognize the name of the sender.

“Once informed that the sender’s name is believed to be pseudonym used by the president, Abedin exclaimed: ‘How is this not classified?'” the report says. “Abedin then expressed her amazement at the president’s use of a pseudonym and asked if she could have a copy of the email.”

The Five Clinton Aides Covering for Her Who Were Granted Immunity

By Rick Moran September 24, 2016

The FBI was handing out immunity deals like Halloween candy during the investigation of Hillary Clinton's emails. No fewer than five top aides received a "Get out of Jail" free card.

Here's some background on the Fab Five.

Daily Caller:

Cheryl Mills

Hillary Clinton’s State Department chief of staff who currently works as her personal attorney. Mills entered the Clinton orbit as a lawyer in the Bill Clinton White House.

According to Politico, Mills was granted immunity after her April 9 interview with the FBI. Beth Wilkinson, her attorney, said that the immunity arrangement covered only information recovered from the laptop computer she used in 2014 to conduct a review of Clinton’s emails before they were given to the State Department.

The FBI’s report of its Clinton email investigation shows that in July 2014, Mills asked computer technician Paul Combetta, who also received DOJ immunity, to transfer to her backups of Clinton’s emails.

[...]

Heather Samuelson

A longtime Clinton campaign staffer who worked for as White House liaison at Clinton’s State Department and, later, as her lawyer.

As a lawyer, Samuelson led up the 2014 review of Clinton’s emails to determine which ones were work-related and which were personal.

According to Politico’s report, Samuelson received DOJ immunity in exchange for turning over the laptop she used during the review of Clinton’s emails in 2014. Like Mills, her lawyer is Beth Wilkinson.

John Bentel

Former director of Information Resources Management for the State Department’s Executive Secretariat.

Politico reported that Bentel was granted immunity even before he was interviewed by the FBI.

That may be because he appears to have given false answers to Congress about what he knew about Clinton’s email server. In a deposition with the House Select Committee on Benghazi last year, Bentel, who retired in 2012, said that he did not know anything about Clinton’s server. But two of Bentel’s subordinates told the State Department’s inspector general that Bentel told them that Clinton’s server had been approved by the State Department’s lawyers. They also said Bentel warned them to stop discussing the server.

Emails released in response to various Freedom of Information Act requests show that Bentel was involved in several discussions in which Clinton’s server was mentioned.

Nevertheless, in his FBI interview, Bentel denied “that State employees raised concerns about Clinton’s emails to him, that he discouraged employees discussing it, or that he was aware during Clinton’s tenure that she was using a personal email account or server to conduct official State business.”

[...]

Bryan Pagliano

Former Hillary Clinton campaign staffer who later worked at the State Department where he managed Clinton’s private email server.

Pagliano was granted limited immunity ahead of his Dec. 22 interview with the FBI. He also reportedly provided logs of the activity on Clinton’s server.

He has refused to talk to other investigative bodies, including the House Select Committee on Benghazi, the House Oversight Committee, and the watchdog group Judicial Watch.

He invoked his Fifth Amendment rights during a Benghazi Committee interview held last September and during the Judicial Watch deposition. He refused to show up to an Oversight Committee hearing held last week despite having been subpoenaed. The Committee voted to hold Pagliano in contempt of Congress for ignoring the subpoena.

[...]

Paul Combetta

Computer technician for Platte River Networks, the tech firm that Clinton hired in 2013 to manage her email server.

Combetta received Justice Department immunity despite apparently misleading the FBI about his decision to delete backups of Clinton’s emails while they were under congressional subpoena.

Combetta used a software program called BleachBit to delete the backups between March 25-31, 2015. The deletion occurred just before Combetta took part in a conference call with Clinton’s lawyers, including Mills and Samuelson.

FBI Docs: Hillary Deleted Nearly 1,000 Emails With David Petraeus

By Debra Heine September 27, 2016

(AP Photo/Patrick Semansky)

A potentially explosive nugget from the FBI's Friday document dump of investigatory notes from the Clinton email probe has been all but ignored by the media. And that is the revelation that Hillary Clinton deleted 1,000 work-related emails between herself and General David Petaeus from his time as the director of the United States Central Command.

Via the Washington Examiner:

In Aug. 2015, the Pentagon called the State Department and informed an unnamed official there that "CENTCOM records showed approximately 1,000 work-related emails between Clinton's personal email and General David Petraeus."

The FBI noted that "[m]ost of those 1,000 emails were not believed to be included in the 30,000 emails" that Clinton turned over to the State Department in Dec. 2014.

Hillary has long maintained that the emails her lawyers unilaterally deleted were personal emails pertaining to “yoga routines, family vacations” and other matters that had nothing to do with government. She repeated the same nonsense to Congress while under oath. In August of 2015, she signed a statement to a federal judge declaring "under penalty of perjury" that she turned over all work-related emails.

Now we find out that 1,000 emails between Clinton and General Petraeus were not turned over. This should be a bigger story. Petraeus started out as the leader of U.S. Central Command and then became the director of the CIA during Clinton's tenure as secretary of State, so not only were those emails obviously work related, they very likely were highly classified. The implications here are staggering.

But it gets worse.

The FBI summary also revealed that top State Department officials were actually putting pressure on employees to hide the fact that they were finding classified information in Clinton's emails.

A State Department employee, whose name was redacted, told investigators they believed senior department officials interfered with the screening of Clinton’s emails for public release last year in a way that helped Clinton.

The employee, who worked on the screening process, said there was pressure to obscure the fact they were finding classified information in the messages. John Kirby, a State Department spokesman, said in a statement the department “strongly disputes” the claim of interference. Clinton repeatedly said last year she never sent or received classified information, but now says she did not do so knowingly since the release of the FBI findings.

Spokesmen for Clinton did not respond to Reuters' questions about the new interview summaries.

Friday's tranche of FBI notes included a number of other revealing developments, including the fact that the DOJ granted top Clinton aide/lawyer Cheryl Mills immunity in exchange for her testimony, an employee at Platte River Networks referred to a Clinton work request as the "Hillary cover-up operation," and the president of the United States used a pseudonym in email communications with Hillary Clinton on her private email account.

Day #10 – FBI Director James Comey Admits “Stonetear” is Paul Combetta During Hearing….

You might also want to refresh your memory on the previous Clinton story and explanation from the FBI and Clinton lawyers

The Last Refuge - September 29, 2016 1 Comment

Link: http://www.infowars.com/day-10-fbi-director-james-comey-admits-stonetear-is-paul-combetta-during-hearing/

[several good vids at site link, above]

It has been 10 days since we originally presented the Stonetear Revelations on September 19th.

Yesterday, Ohio Representative Jim Jordan questioned FBI Director James Comey about the “Stonetear” Reddit posting. Director Comey admits that Stonetear is in fact Paul Combetta, and the “VERY VIP” was, indeed, Hillary Clinton.

Additionally Director Comey also stated the phrase “they” in the Combetta post (ie. “Basically, they don’t want the VIP’s email address exposed to anyone“…) most likely included Hillary Clinton’s legal team. Watch:

However, stunningly Comey appears almost disingenuous about the action of Paul Combetta (it makes no difference to Comey) where Combetta scrubbed the postings in an attempt to cover-up/hide the original intent of the document manipulation (Sept.20th).

When questioned about whether he would re-open the investigation given this information Comey gave no response. Even more alarming is Comey admitting the influencing agents behind the request to Combetta were most likely Cheryl Mills and Hillary Clinton’s legal team during their conversations on July 23rd and 24th 2014.

How the heck can Comey sit there with a straight face and say there was no reason to prosecute any of the participants in the email scheme, when he’s now admitting they carried forethought into the process on July 24th (Stonetear), and Paul Combetta himself exhibited consciousness of guilt in his actions trying to scrub the traces of that forethought only 9 days ago? BULLSH*T !!

Jim Jordan appeared on the Lou Dobbs show last night to further discuss why the American public have lost complete faith and trust in the FBI and the systems of government which should be in place to stop and punish such blatantly unlawful action:

bleachbit-paul-combettableach-bit-2

Discovering Combetta’s July 24th, 2014 Reddit thread is significant because his commentary clearly shows an intention to modify the records of his “VIP client”, who we now know was Hillary Clinton.

Those records, as a consequence of their ownership by Secretary Clinton, are federal records. In essence, Paul Combetta, a private citizen, was seeking assistance on a public forum for how to modify federal records prior to export to an unknown entity (presumably Cheryl Mills).

As the weight of the discovery begins to shake out, and with more media beginning to understand the potential scope of the issue(s) inherent within the date of activity, on this thread we look at the timeline.

The absolute best researched timeline of the Hillary email scandal was done, and is being maintained, by Sharyl Atkinsson (see here). Using this timeline, along with information from congressional testimony, we can add the discoveries centering around Paul Combetta and provide a new perspective on the motives therein.

June 30, 2013: Hillary Clinton’s (long-term) technical assistant, Brian Pagliano’s server email accounts are transferred to the new Platte River Network Server where Paul Combetta is the Clinton custodian.

July 18, 2013: The Clintons sign formal deal with Platte River Network (PRN) for new email server services. [Platte River Network’s main office is in Denver CO; Paul Combetta works from a satellite office in Rhode Island, 145 miles away from Chappaqua, NY]

Early 2014: Monica Hanley (Hillary Clinton aide) says she finds Apple MacBook laptop from Spring of 2013 at her home and tries, but fails, to remotely transfer Hillary email archive to Platte River Network server.

Feb. 2014:

•Hanley ships Apple MacBook laptop to unidentified person who transfers Hillary email archive to Gmail address, then to PRN server.

•Hanley instructs unidentified person to delete and/or wipe Hillary email archive from Apple MacBook and Gmail.

•Unidentified person ships Apple MacBook via US Postal Service or UPS to unidentified female Hillary associate who later tells FBI she never received it.

•Nobody can find the Apple MacBook or thumb drive containing Hillary archive email.

May 8, 2014: House Benghazi select committee is established. Trey Gowdy is Chairman.

Summer of 2014: The State Dept. notifies Hillary aide/lawyer Cheryl Mills that it will be requesting Hillary’s work emails.

♦ July 22, 2014: Paul Combetta and wife Danielle Dirocco purchase a new home for $290,000 in Narragansett, Rhode Island. (Just an fyi – tax records/deeds)

July 23, 2014: Congressional Benghazi committee reaches agreement with State Dept. on production of records. Then, the very next day…

♦ July 24, 2014: Platte River Network Paul Combetta (aka “stonetear“) appears on Reddit with the following question(s):

FIRST: Hello all- I may be facing a very interesting situation where I need to strip out a VIP’s (VERY VIP) email address from a bunch of archived email that I have both in a live Exchange mailbox, as well as a PST file. Basically, they don’t want the VIP’s email address exposed to anyone, and want to be able to either strip out or replace the email address in the to/from fields in all of the emails we want to send out.

I am not sure if something like this is possible with PowerShell, or exporting all of the emails to MSG and doing find/replaces with a batch processing program of some sort.

Does anyone have experience with something like this, and/or suggestions on how this might be accomplished?

SECOND: As a PST file or exported MSG files, this could be done though, yes? The issue is that these emails involve the private email address of someone you’d recognize, and we’re trying to replace it with a placeholder address as to not expose it.

THIRD: I think maybe I wasn’t clear enough in the original post. I have these emails available in a PST file. Can I rewrite them in the PST? I could also export to MSG and do some sort of batch find/replace. Anyone know of tools that might help with this?

Later July 2014:

•Clinton Aide/Attorney Cheryl Mills initiates review of any Hillary work emails with .gov addresses that were transferred from Pagliano server to Platte River Network server.

•The emails don’t include the Jan-March 2009 emails lost on the missing Apple server.

•The .gov work emails are put in a file on laptops of Cheryl Mills and Hillary attorney Heather Samuelson.

•These laptop email files would later be wiped using BleachBit so they could never be recovered. The FBI was unable to review them.

August, 2014: State Dept. provides House Benghazi Committee with eight emails to or from Clinton that show her use of a private email account.

Sept. 15, 2014: Sharyl Attkisson reports on State Dept. official who said he witnessed Benghazi document sorting session with Hillary aides in State Dept. basement in 2013.

Late Sept. 2014:

•Mills and Samuelson review the rest of the available Hillary emails, besides the .gov.

•These email files would later be wiped using BleachBit so they could never be recovered. The FBI was unable to review them.

•Selected emails are printed in Mills’ office and reviewed again by attorneys Samuelson, Mills and Hillary attorney David Kendall of Williams & Connolly.

•“Non-work” emails are shredded.

•“Work” emails were printed and provided on USB drive to Kendall.

♦ However, we can infer from the timeline segment above that Combetta was able to export the “clinton.com” email files by some method for Cheryl Mills and Heather Samuelson to sort, review and print – Between July 24, 2014 and late September 2014.

Now Watch Jim Jordan:

Dec. 2014: Hillary and Abedin begin using new email accounts on the domain hrcoffice.com.

Dec. 5, 2014: Hard copies of Hillary work emails are given to State Dept.

Dec. 2014: Hillary instructs her staff she no longer needs to keep the remaining “personal” emails.

Dec. 2014 or Jan. 2015:

•Mills and Samuelson request unidentified person to delete the Hillary email files from their laptops.

•Software called “BleachBit” is used so it can never be recovered.

•Unknown Hillary staffer also wants Hillary email archive removed from PRN server.

•Mills asks for shortened email retention for clintonemail.com account because Hillary decides she no longer needs emails older than 60 days.

July 10, 2015: FBI begins investigation Hillary email situation after U.S. Intelligence Community Inspector General refers the case of possible improper handling of classified information.

March 2, 2015:

•NYT article exposes fact that Clinton used personal email account exclusively for state business.

•PRN technicians conduct work on Pagliano server at Equinix datacenter.

•Mills later tells FBI they were working on the server because she asked them to conduct an equipment inventory.

March 3, 2015: House Benghazi committee requests Hillary attorneys at Williams & Connolly to preserve and produce all documents and media related to her two clintonemail.com known addresses

March 4, 2015: House Benghazi committee privately subpoenas all Hillary emails related to Benghazi terrorist attacks. Clinton does not disclose the subpoenas but tweets, “I want the public to see my email. I asked State to release them. They said they will review them for release as soon as possible.”

March 9, 2015: Mills emails PRN and makes reference to the preservation request from Congress. A PRN technician would later tell FBI he doesn’t remember seeing it.

March 10, 2015: Clinton answers questions about her email practices for the first time. She tells reporters:

•It was more convenient to use the private server.

•“I wanted to use just one device for both personal and work emails instead of two.”

•Last year, she deleted nearly 31,000+ emails that were “private.”

•She will not turn over her personal email server.

•She “fully complied” with the law.

•She has turned over to the State Dept. 55,000 pages of work-related emails.

•There were 62,320 emails in her account: 30,490 were public business; 31,830 were private.

March 25, 2015:

•Platte River Network (PRN) has conference call with Bill Clinton’s staff.

•Platte River Network technician later tells FBI that, at this point, he realized he’d forgotten to shorten Hillary’s email retention (that Mills requested in Dec. 2014), so he now deletes the Clinton archive mailbox from PRN and uses BleachBit to permanently delete files holding the emails.

•FBI says one Platte River Network technician gave three conflicting stories but acknowledged that, when he made deletions, he knew of Congress’ preservation request and knew he should not delete Hillary’s email data on PRN server.

•The FBI says somebody also manually deleted backups of the PRN server during this time frame. Clinton and Mills say they were unaware of these deletions.

March 31, 2015: There’s a conference call among Platte River Network, Kendall and Cheryl Mills. Later, Platte River Network would exert attorney-client privilege and refuse to comment on conversation. This means Hillary’s attorneys are representing the Platte River Network technician, too.

Now who do you think that Clinton-attorney-represented Platte River Network technician might be?

bleachbit-paul-combetta

Remember, prior to our discovery of the July 24th 2014 Reddit discussion, Mr. Combetta was comforted by an immunity agreement with the FBI.

If the FBI was aware of the Reddit information, then why would Combetta need to scrub it? Short answer, he wouldn’t.

You might also want to refresh your memory on the previous Clinton story and explanation from the FBI and Clinton lawyers regarding Paul Combetta:

“As the F.B.I.’s report notes,” Mr. Fallon said, “neither Hillary Clinton nor her attorneys had knowledge of the Platte River Network employee’s actions. It appears he acted on his own and against guidance given by both Clinton’s and Platte River’s attorneys to retain all data in compliance with a congressional preservation request.” (link)

STATE DEPARTMENT ‘LOSES’ SMOKING GUN EMAIL OF POSSIBLE CLINTON INSIDER TRADING

Link: http://www.govtslaves.info/state-department-loses-smoking-gun-email-of-possible-clinton-insider-trading/

[10/3/16] SPUTNIK– A notorious email between State Department aide Jake Sullivan and a Clinton Foundation employee exposing financial conflicts of interest by the former Secretary of State has “mysteriously” disappeared.

While the US media is fixated on the fact that Donald Trump did not pay taxes in 1995, as was revealed in a so-called “bombshell” New York Times article that amounts to essentially “water is wet” and billionaire real estate men both have accountants and qualify for many tax deductions, a major scandal has been unfolding with the State Department mysteriously losing an email that documents potential insider trading on Greek bonds by Hillary Clinton’s son-in-law Marc Mezvinsky with confidential government information.

The Washington Examiner described the missing email as containing “an attachment memo about Greek bonds – a significant detail given the heavy investments Clinton’s son-in-law, Marc Mezvinsky, was making in the Greek economic recovery during the same period” that was released outside the chain of the State Department where it could potentially have been passed along to Chelsea Clinton’s husband.

The revelation resulted from a Freedom of Information Act request for a July 2012 email from the State Department’s Jake Sullivan to Amitabh Desai, A Clinton Foundation employee, and Justin Cooper, an aide to Bill Clinton, titled “Solidarity Bonds Greece Revised.” When a lawyer requested that the State Department provide a copy of the attachment, federal attorneys said that the State Department “does not have” the original email. At the time that the email was sent outside the State Department, Mezvinsky, a hedge fund manager, was openly advertising that he had a secret strategy for making money by “betting that the Greek bailout would raise the price of bonds” – an advertisement that led many large investors tied to the Clinton Foundation to put their money with his hedge fund. The likelihood that Marc Mezvinsky received and used this insider information to his advantage is questionable as his $325 million hedge fund quickly lost 90% of its portfolio value before going bankrupt at a near total loss for his investors, but it does point once again to the complex conflict of interests of Hillary’s wealthy inner-circle and the ease at which the former Secretary of State could have used her office for the enrichment of herself and others.

A spokesperson for the conservative group Citizens United that filed the Freedom of Information Act claim said of the failure by the government to provide the original document that, “Hillary Clinton truly left her mark on the State Department – why do the most important emails always end up missing? The State Department should explain to the American people why this information is unavailable.”

The group Citizens United holds a negative connotation in American political parlance with the group serving as the lead plaintiff in the case to abolish limits on SuperPACs ability to collect money from millionaire and billionaire donors to effectively buy elections and influence the political system.

Déjà vu: Two “banker’s boxes” of Hillary e-mails missing from FBI probe

posted at 9:21 am on October 7, 2016 by Ed Morrissey

Link: http://hotair.com/archives/2016/10/07/deja-vu-two-bankers-boxes-hillary-e-mails-missing-fbi-probe/

The details about the boxes are contained in five pages of the FBI file – with a staggering 111 redactions – that summarize the statements of a State Department witness who worked in the “Office of Information Programs and Services (IPS).” The employee told the FBI that, “Initially, IPS officials were told there were 14 bankers boxes of former Secretary of State Hillary CLINTON’s emails at CLINTON’s Friendship Heights office.” Friendship Heights is a neighborhood that straddles the Northwest neighborhood of the District of Columbia and Maryland.

The State Department witness further explained to the FBI that “on or about December 5, 2014, IPS personnel picked up only 12 bankers boxes of CLINTON’s emails from Williams & Connolly.”

The officials were not sure if the boxes “were consolidated or what could have happened to the two other boxes. “

Now why does this sound familiar? More than twenty years ago, during another investigation into potential corruption and wrongdoing in the Whitewater affair, records went missing, too — and stayed that way for two years. At that point, Hillary Clinton’s records of her work at the Rose Law firm mysteriously reappeared in the White House, as the New York Times reported at the time:

After nearly two years of searches and subpoenas, the White House said this evening that it had unexpectedly discovered copies of missing documents from Hillary Rodham Clinton’s law firm that describe her work for a failing savings and loan association in the 1980’s.

Federal and Congressional investigators have issued subpoenas for the documents since 1994, and the White House has said it did not have them. The originals disappeared from the Rose Law Firm, in which Mrs. Clinton was a partner, shortly before Mr. Clinton took office.

The newly discovered documents are copies of billing records from the Rose firm, where Mrs. Clinton helped represent Madison Guaranty, a savings and loan run by James B. McDougal, the Clintons’ business partner in the Whitewater land venture. The originals are still missing. Investigators have been seeking the documents to determine the role Mrs. Clinton played in the firm’s representation of the savings and loan.

That’s not the only point of déjà vu in this story, either. The man who handled the printed e-mail records for Hillary is David Kendall, one of the partners at Williams and Connolly. Guess who was handling Hillary’s Rose Law records back in the day? Better yet, see if you can guess which story this next excerpt describes:

The Clintons’ personal lawyer, David E. Kendall, said tonight that the documents show that the work Mrs. Clinton performed was limited both in time and scope, as she has repeatedly said.

It’s not too easy to tell, but that was Kendall in 1996, after the White House finally admitted it had copies of the subpoenaed records during the entire two years Congress had subpoenaed them. Looks like Kendall has had a lot of practice on this point, eh?

Remember that Hillary and Kendall did not turn over her e-mails in electronic form, but went to the trouble of printing out all the non-deleted e-mails instead. Why? For one thing, Hillary clearly wanted to prevent anyone from restoring the deletions. It’s also a lot easier to “lose” paper records, as the Clintons figured out in 1994-96, only to “find” them when it’s more or less moot. In this case, the missing records might well relate to the first three months of Hillary’s tenure as Secretary of State, a period of time when almost no e-mails have been recovered, but which would have been critical to the question of intent at the time Hillary set up the unauthorized and non-secure server for her official business.

I’m sure that’s just a coincidence.

Catherine Herridge and Pamela Brown uncover another interesting development regarding another very familiar figure, too. One witness told the FBI that Patrick Kennedy tried playing games with classifications in order to get Hillary off the hook:

“(Redacted) believed there was interference with the formal FOIA review process. Specifically, STATE’s Near East Affairs Bureau upgraded several of CLINTON’s emails to a classified level with a B(1) release exemption. (Redacted) along with (redacted) attorney, Office of Legal Counsel called STATE’s Near East Affairs Bureau and told them they could use a B(5) exemption on an upgraded email to protect it instead of the B(1) exemption.”

In early May 2015, the witness reported, “… KENNEDY held a closed-door meeting with (redacted) and (redacted) DOJ’s Office of Information Programs where KENNEDY pointedly asked (redacted) to change the FBI’s classification determination regarding one of CLINTON’s emails, which the FBI considered classified. The email was related to FBI counter-terrorism operations.”

Kennedy is also a familiar figure in all sorts of questionable Clinton conduct. The Accountability Review Board ignored Kennedy despite his executive role in determining security for the consulate in Benghazi as it attempted to lay blame on four low-level career State Department personnel, but subsequent Congressional investigations have put him front and center in the debacle. He also allegedly spiked an investigation into a politically connected US ambassador to Belgium, who had been accused of soliciting underage prostitutes.

In short, we’re seeing the same patterns of corruption and cover-up from all the same old folks. Get ready for four more years of the same if Hillary wins this election.
