Montgomery County Man Allegedly Recorded Children Getting Changed At Dorney Park

WYNDMOOR, Pa. (CBS) A 51-year-old man accused of recording children getting changed at Dorney Park has been charged by indictment with production of child pornography, distribution of child pornography and possession of child pornography, authorities say.

The indictment alleges that on or about June 2005 to on or about September 2015, Kurt Eichert, of Wyndmoor, secretly recorded children changing their clothes in Dorney Park in Allentown, Pennsylvania.

Officials say he is also charged with allegedly distributing child pornography in May 2015 and possessing images of child pornography in September 2015.

Authorities say if convicted, Eichert faces a mandatory sentence of 15 years in prison with a maximum possible sentence of 80 years.

His bail has been set at $400,000.

Montgomery County Man Admits to Sharing Videos of Children Changing at Dorney Park

A man accused of videotaping children changing their clothes at a popular Pennsylvania amusement park and editing the images into a movie at has admitted to trading child pornography.

The Morning Call reports 52-year-old Kurt Eichert of Springfield Township, Montgomery County pleaded guilty Tuesday to possessing and distributing sexually explicit images of children.

Eichert was indicted in December on charges he edited images into movies he titled "Water Park Fun" and shared them online. Federal prosecutors say he filmed children changing clothes at Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom, about 60 miles north of Philadelphia.

Eichert was charged with attempted sexual abuse of children and violations of electronic surveillance and wiretap laws in 1996. He pleaded guilty to corruption of minors and received probation.

Sentencing has been scheduled for Oct. 13.
