Friday, June 10th 2016

DAYTON (WRGT) -- A woman reported to police she was abducted, forced into a van and sexually assaulted.

Dayton police say the woman was on West Hudson Avenue, near North Main Street, about 11 p.m. Tuesday, June 7, when the suspect used a knife to force her into a large white SUV with tinted windows.

The woman said she was driven to a different location, where she was sexually assaulted. She was able to escape several hours later, she told police, when the SUV was stopped in traffic.

The suspect is described as a black male with dark complexion, about 35-40 years old, 6-foot tall, about 200-250 and heavyset. He has hair in thick braids, down to the middle of his back. He has thick eyebrows and no facial hair. The man has a tattoo on his left bicep/tricep, possibly of a dragon, snake or tribal design. The woman said he spoke with a slight accent, which might have been fake. He was last seen wearing a black tank top, jean shorts with a "Coogi" symbol and black tennis shoes.
