Updated at 02:33pm, January 9, 2016

BROWNSVILLE, Brooklyn — A 18-year-old was out for an evening walk with a friend when she was held at gunpoint and brutally raped by five men inside a playground Thursday, police said.

The woman was walking with a male friend at Osborn Playground — near Hegeman Avenue — and when they were approached by five men, one of which displayed a handgun, police sources said on Saturday.

The gunman pointed it at the victim’s friend and told him to “get the [expletive] out of here,” police sources said.

The friend fled and called police, while the men forcibly removed the woman’s pants and took turns raping her at gunpoint, police sources said.

The victim was taken to Kings County Hospital in stable condition.

The gunman is described as a tall black male about 20-30 years old and wore a red jacket and black pants, police sources said.

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) — Police are searching for five men who they said are wanted for sexually assaulting an 18-year-old woman in a Brooklyn park.

It happened Thursday night in Osborne Park in the area of Lott Avenue and Osborne Street. Police said the woman was walking with her father when they were approached by five men, one armed with a gun.

The armed man pointed the gun at them and ordered the father to leave the area, police said. The father complied and that’s when police said all five men raped the woman.

Police have released surveillance video of the men at a bodega before the incident.

Five fiends took turns raping a terrified teenage girl in a Brooklyn playground Thursday evening, police said on Saturday.

The 18-year-old and her dad were inside Osborn Playground, near Hegeman Avenue and Osborn Street in Brownsville, at 9:10 p.m. when the perverts, all strangers, accosted them.

One had a gun and pointed it at the pair, demanding that the father leave.

The father ran out of the park, desperately looking for help.

When he left, each of the men, who ranged in age from 20 to 30, raped his daughter, cops said.

By then the father had encountered two cops, who accompanied him back to the park.

When the perverts saw the officers, they fled.

The teen was taken to Kings County Hospital, where she was treated and released.

Police surveillance video shows the creeps inside a bodega before the rape.

Four of the five teens suspected in the horrific rape of an 18-year-old girl in a Brooklyn park were in police custody on Sunday night, sources said.

Two boys, 14 and 15, were brought to the 73rd Precinct station house by their parents, and a third and fourth suspects were busted shortly after, according to law enforcement sources.

The fifth suspect was still on the loose.

“We have been working closely with the NYPD to bring the violent sexual predators who committed this horrific gang rape to justice and will not stop until every one of them is held accountable,” said Brooklyn District Attorney Ken Thompson.

The attackers allegedly took turns raping the girl in Osborn Playground in Brownsville around 9 p.m. Thursday.

One had a gun and pointed it at the girl and her father, demanding he leave. He ran for help and eventually flagged down a patrol car, but the deviants had fled the scene.

Earlier on Sunday, furious Brooklyn politicians blasted the NYPD for waiting two days before telling anyone about the rape.

Borough President Eric Adams charged the public would have been immediately notified had the rape occurred in Manhattan’s Central Park instead of Osborn Playground in crime-ridden Brownsville.

“For community leaders and the community to find out about this horrific crime from the tabloids is not acceptable,” Adams said.

“The imperative to catch those people shouldn’t matter if the park is Osborn [Playground] or Central Park,” he said. “The same level of urgency must be followed.”

An NYPD rep said in a statement Sunday that police officers responded to the scene immediately and were quickly able to track down surveillance footage.

“Detectives in conducting an expanded canvass were able to find video in a bodega,” the statement read. “After review, retrieval and copying, the video was distributed to the media around 8 p.m. on Saturday to help identity the five males.’’

Brooklyn politicians on Sunday blasted the NYPD for waiting two days before telling the public about the horrific rape of an 18-year-old who was attacked while walking through the park with her father.

But despite his reservations about how cops may have handled the investigation, Adams said he was confident there was no delay on the part of officers responding to the crime.

“A patrol car from the 73rd Precinct was approached on the street and told about the attack by the victim’s father, who directed the officers to the scene,’’ an NYPD rep said in a statement Sunday.

“The police officers immediately responded and located the victim. The suspects had already fled.’’

The NYPD representative continued: “Detectives in conducting an expanded canvas were able to find video in a bodega . . . After review, retrieval and copying, the video was distributed to the media around 8 p.m. on Saturday to help identity the five males.’’

The rape victim and her father had been inside Osborn Playground at around 9 p.m. Thursday when they were accosted by the five men, one of whom had a gun, police said.

The thugs ordered the dad to leave while they took turns raping the girl in the desolate park.

Mayor de Blasio, referring to the park rape, vowed in a statement Sunday to “take every step possible to find and swiftly prosecute the assailants of this vicious crime.’’

Brooklyn Councilwoman Laurie Cumbo, meanwhile, ripped NYPD Commissioner Bill Bratton for suggesting last week that women use “the buddy system’’ to halt cabby assaults.

Two teens busted in alleged gang rape say it was coonsensual

Two of the five teenagers accused of gang-raping an 18-year-old girl in a Brooklyn playground last week claim the sex was consensual  — but cops believe there definitely was at least some kind of assault, police sources said Monday.

“There’s no doubt on our end that there was an assault. [The victim] was in pretty tough shape,” a source said.

Four suspects are in custody and still being questioned by cops at Brooklyn’s Special Victim’s Unit, cops said. They have yet to be charged.

While two of them claim it was consensual sex, a third suspect said he was only at the playground for a short time and didn’t engage in any sexual activity with the girl, sources said. The fourth teen in custody is refusing to talk, sources added. The fifth suspect is still on the lam.

Sources said the father of the 18-year-old Brooklyn girl had been boozing up with his daughter before the attack and was acting drunk and befuddled when he tried to get bodega workers at two delis to let him use a phone to call 911.

The victim told cops that she and her 39-year-old dad — who she only recently reconnected with after being adopted — were drinking beer near the handball courts at the Osborn Playground in Brownsville around 9 p.m. Thursday “to be away from the police,” sources said.

Their plan backfired when five teens, including one with a gun, confronted them and ordered the father to scram, the pair told cops.

The dad ran to Zaida Deli and Grocery for help, but a worker there said he couldn’t make out what the father was saying because he was so hammered.

“He looked like he was either high or on drugs,” recalled the employee, who spoke in Spanish  and refused to be named.

“He was swaying side to side,” he said. “He asked me, ‘Lend me your phone.’ I said no. He didn’t tell me it was an emergency or ‘I need to call the police’ or, of course, I would’ve given it to him or just called the police for him. This is the ghetto, and what happens is people will ask to use your phone to make a drug deal. That’s why we don’t just give people our phone.”

After leaving Zaida Deli, the victim’s dad ran to another bodega down the street, but it was the same situation.

“I could just tell [he was wasted] by the way he was acting,” recalled a worker at Gaston Deli named Sammy.

Surveillance video from the store shows the victim’s father walking inside before he begins to chat with two men. He does not appear to be frantic or in distress.

After walking out of the store, sources said the dad drunkenly ran past a marked police car before eventually circling back and alerting the cops to his daughter’s attack.

Community activist Tony Herbert gathered with residents at Osborn Playground on Monday morning to demand that the fifth suspect turn himself in.

“Do the responsible thing,” he urged. “You’re not going to rape women in our community and think you’re going to get away with it.”

City Council Speaker Melissa Mark-Viverito also joined other council members outside City Hall to decry the recent increase in sexual violence against women, including the rape.

“What has happened to that young woman in Brownsville has happened now to every single woman in the city of New York,” said Laurie Cumbo (D-Brooklyn). “We’re simply not going to take the violence that’s being inflicted upon women in the City of New York.”
