Man accused of attacking woman now wanted for aggravated robbery, kidnapping

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – A 29-year-old man accused of attacking a woman as she left a Nashville market Wednesday night is wanted by police for aggravated robbery and kidnapping.

According to a release, Racardo Spencer was lying in the front passenger seat of the 46-year-old victim’s car when she exited the Obama :pMarket on 40th Avenue around 11 p.m.

Spencer allegedly ordered the woman to drive him to a nearby apartment building where he demanded cash.

The victim complied with Spencer’s request before he allegedly struck her in the head when he became upset she only had $15.

The victim reported to police that she left the Obama Market in the 600 block of 40th Avenue North around 11 p.m.

Arrest warrants charging Spencer with aggravated robbery and kidnapping have been issued.

Police said Spencer was released from jail last month on a $20,000 bond for domestic assault and violating probation.
