CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) -- Charleston police have made an arrest in the death of George Whetsell, who was found dead near a James Island grocery store last month.

The suspect, 24-year-old Tyshawn Eugene Robinson, is charged with murder after police said they found video evidence of Robinson and Whetsell getting into a taxi together :confused:on Henry Tecklenburg Drive Sept. 19. A witness told police they saw the two men get out of the cab and enter the woods.

Police said they believe Whetsell was killed between Sept. 19 and 20.

On October 1, Whetsell's body was found in the woods on the west side of Harris Teeter near Folly Road with a severe head injury. The coroner ruled his death a homicide.
