PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — Two people face kidnapping and robbery charges for their alleged involvement in an armed robbery at a Northeast Portland tavern on Oct. 17.

That night, an employee at the West Wynn tavern on NE 102nd was tied up and robbed near closing time.

A woman, later identified by police as Christie A. Dillman, came into the tavern as the employee saw a man “pacing out in front of the business” on surveillance video, court document revealed.

When the man came in, the employee asked to see his ID. The man, later identified by police as Laboyce Daniel Ross, said he didn’t have any ID and began to argue.

When Dillman and Ross began to leave, Ross pulled a gun and told Dillman to zip-tie the employee’s hands to a metal bar in the bathroom, documents showed.

More than $2000 was taken from the cash register as they fled.
